I am passionate about sharing my travel adventures, hiking experiences, and the useful tips I'm picking up along the way.
One of the first questions I was asked after my first solo hiking trip was: Did you see anyone else on the trails that looked like you?
Honestly? I didn't. But what I did see was a community of people dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of natural spaces. What I found was a place where I could organically connect with the world around me and with people that shared the same passion.

There isn't a ton of Black and/or Brown representation in the hiking world. But we are here and we are thriving!
My goal with this blog and my platforms is to collaborate with local, national and global brands to inspire hiking and solo travel for women, for people of color, and for anyone who believes that travel is out of reach.
From where to stay, which trails to hike, what to wear, how to pack, and where to get the best drink after a long day of trekking, Dirty Boots in a Bar is dedicated to sharing experiences and providing travel tips and tricks to anyone that craves adventure.
