About Me

Cheers! My name is Cassandra but I go by Cass. I discovered hiking in 2021 and now spend a good part of my day trying to figure out how I am going to continue to fund this new habit while also juggling work as a digital marketing freelancer, dog mama, and wannabe Yogi.

I am a California girl that has lived all over the US region - from West Coast to East Coast and in-between, I've called sunny Florida my home since 2012. Having a beach as my backyard is cool but my soul craves mountains and forests often. My hiking adventures more than satisfy it.

Some random (but fun) facts about me:

1. I love to solo hike

2. My pitbull, Cali, is the one possession I'm constantly trying to figure out how to pack in my suitcase 

3. I live in constant warmth so am always escaping to cooler climates

4. I refuse to eat at chains when I travel

5. A dive bar is a must on every hiking adventure

This space is for your enjoyment! My goal is to encourage women, solo seekers, and people of color to get outdoors and explore more. While dedicated mostly to all things hiking, I look foward to sharing my other adventures as well as tips/tricks, recommendations, and, of course, great pics.
